Bangladesh Power Distribution and Transmission system (Bangla)

Bangladesh Power Distribution and Transmission system (Bangla)
In Bangladesh Power generating organizations are BPDB, APSCL, NWPGCL, EGCB, RPCL, CPGCBL, IPP (Non-government Power Plants) and SIPP. They produce 11KV, 13KV, 16KV high voltage as generator output. Then it is transmitted through a step-up transformer as very high voltage e.g. 132KV, 230KV and 400KV. In the primary power transmission system it is converted as 132KV and then from 132KV to 33KV. The 32KV is transformed into 11KV at secondary transmission. All these transmission system is conducted by PGCB.
Distribution system:The distribution organizations are WZPDCL, DPDC, DESCO, BREB including PBS, NESCO and BPDB. The 11KV transmitted power from PGCB is distributed by these organizations. They distributed as 230V single phase and three phase supplies with 3wires or 4 wires.
