In this lesson we will learn about Environmental Law. The important constitutional provisions that are concerned with environment protection such as article 21, 48A and 51A (g). Provisions were made in Indian Constitution in 42nd amendment, 1976 to protect and improve the environment.
Environment protection is an international issue. United Nations has adopted various Conventions and protocols to protect the environment, such as Vienna conventions, Kyoto protocol, basel convention, montreal protocol, Nagoya protocol, Stockholm declaration etc.
Environment law is the UNIT-8 of UGC NTA NET Exam paper-2 Law new syllabus. This video covers Chapter-1 to 4 of the syllabus.
