🔴 Voltage-Current characteristics of p-n Junction Diode | Knee voltage & Zener voltage in HINDI

In this Physics (Digital Electronics) video lecture in Hindi for class 12 we explained the Voltage - Current characteristics of p-n junction diode. Further we explained knee voltage and breakdown (or Zener) voltage.
When a pn junction diode is connected forward bias, initially, upto 'potential barrier' current grows slowly with voltage. After reaching 'knee voltage' current grows in considerable amount with voltage.
When a pn junction diode is connected reverse bias, initially, upto 'breakdown voltage' current grows very very slowly with voltage. After reaching 'breakdown voltage' current grows very high and the diode becomes inoperative. This process of breaking down of a junction diode is known as 'Avalanche breakdown'.
